Our program combines flexible asynchronous learning with live community sessions, expert mentorship, and a capstone Impact Project you apply to your own research or clinical practice.

Program aims

Structured around three NIH IPERT program aims for scalable, evidence-based AI education.

AIM 1

Build AI literacy

Develop foundational knowledge of AI concepts, terminology, and tools relevant to healthcare and biomedical research.

AIM 2

Apply AI to real work

Complete an Impact Project applying AI methods directly to your own clinical or research question.

AIM 3

Lead ethical implementation

Evaluate AI equity, safety, and bias dimensions and champion responsible AI use in your institution.
